Rebekah slept 7 straight hours last night. Woo hoo! Unfortunately, though, I was only asleep with her for 4 of those hours... But she is doing great!
Today at breakfast, Kaelah saw a fly and attempted to "shoo" it, and instead flipped her cereal bowl. David was laughing as I began to clean up the huge mess.
My nieces came by today for me to watch. David took all girls (minus the baby) to run errands while I showered in the morning before he headed out to work. Kaelah is still sick, too, by the way. Both she and Haleah kept coughing during naptime and I ended up putting them both back to bed about 10 times during a 2 hour stretch---exhausting! I set Cora and Gracyn up with a craft during naptime. They painted plaster ponies. The kid in me wanted to paint a pony too, but Bekah had other ideas for me. She did not want to sleep well during the day today...
After nap, we ventured outside to the new froggie pool I bought last night. The girls loved it. Cora and Gracyn ended up having a bucket of water fight, which was great comic relief. I was so tired today, that I kept bumping into things and injuring myself. I stubbed my toes, rammed my knee into the corner of the coffee table, and jarred my back on the edge of a closet door.
Tonight I had to tell Haleah not to hit me or she would be in trouble, as she tried to swipe at me. Then she paused for a minute and said, "You are in charge of me." I said, "You got that right!" I'm glad she is finally beginning to learn that lesson... :)
Got to go. They are still coughing in bed tonight. I'm running marathons back and forth to the rooms. Heaven help me!
